Hi, I have list the ability to record anything whilst watching another programme.
I bought a replacement sky box, so I assume this may be something kin the settings?
Any help would be appreciated.

You can't now pair a viewing card to another Sky+ box. Sky Customer Services are available to provide advice and troubleshooting. Sky+, being a legacy package, is no longer supported by Sky.
Still call Sky to discuss your options moving forward which will be upgrading to Sky Q or moving to Glass / Steam to continue to view Sky content through a Sky subscription.

What happens when you try? Error message? It may be a dish problem, rather than your Sky box.

Your only option would have been to buy a replacement HDD for the original Sky+ HD to return recording capabilities ... BUT replacing HDD in DRX89/DRX895 boxes isn't easy😟
