Discussion topic: Recently had full fibre installed but my speeds are very slow

Around 5 weeks ago we had fibre to the house installed with promised speeds of up to 150 mbs. For the past week my speeds have been between 25mbs and 40mbs. This obviously isn't what I am paying for so if anyone can help please. Please bear in mind I am not a tech geek so I would need an idiot's explanation.

How are you measuring those speeds? The 'promised' speed is that arriving at the Hub, not what the Hub is sending to a wireless device.
