So I bought Asus DSL-AX82U and I've followed the instrucstion on this page and managed to get the internet working but the phones are not working at all.
I have Sky IRE 1gb with a home phone.

Well looks like I'll have to return the router to Amazon. I don't understand why compaines don't allow this

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIts not as simple as Sky 'not allowing it' its that the Sky hub contains the ATA as well as the voip access information hardcoded into it. Making it work with any phone/router would be difficult and a much bigger support headache for Sky.
Most people either run their routers in 'AP' mode connected to the Sky hub or opt to transfer to a 3rd party VOIP company where you can use IP phones connected over ethernet/internet instead of an ATA connection locally.

That router doesn't have a 'BT jack' phone port: for the reasons @jamesn123 indicates, such hardware typically doesn't.
The RJ11 socket is for VDSL broadband, not voice telephony.

I'm from Ireland and we dont use BT over here we use the ones below plus the modem comes with adapters.

It's still the socket for a VDSL modem, not an ATA (Analogue Telephone Adapter) and cannot host a phone handset: those are completely different functions even though each can run over an RJ11 jack.
