Problems with Openreach engineers

Wondering if there is anyone who can help me or been in this situation with a resolution?  I live in a property on which my front garden houses a service strip for certain utilities.  The utilities have a right of access to maintain the boxes in my garden.  They should be giving us prior notice of any work they need to do on my land beforehand unless it's an emergency.
We have had a few engineers turn up at our house unannounced wanting access to the box in our garden without prior warning to ourselves.  These visits in particular are to upgrade copper wires to fibre for other neighbours in my street who wish an upgrade.  I don't have an issue with the work being done but I do have an issue with not being informed beforehand if they want to access my garden which is private property.  The boxes are also covered with stone chips which we have put down to cover the boxes as they are an eyesore and the utility companies can still access them.  How do I speak to a human to get this sorted? If an engineer has been scheduled to do work for a neighbour why can't we be informed at the same time if they want to access my land which is my right to expect some form of communication?  I cannot find numbers to deal with this and anyone I have spoke to doesn't understand what  talking about or can't help.  Any suggestions welcome. Thanks

@Peed-off Always a tricky one, so take a look at the Openreach info as that is what you have posted about linked below! At least they do contact you when there, and if needed the can just say it's all required work so an Emergency situation has arisen!

Thanks, it's impossible to contact open reach or their sub contractors.  It's only an emergency if it's something like a gas leak, upgrading a cable isn't an emergency whether they say so or not.  I've also had one of them say if we hadn't been home they'd have just entered my land and did the work anyway! They don't have the right to do that without informing us beforehand.

@Peed-off As before have you done any wayleave in the past or if not did someone else prior to do it, there is a section in the document for you to go look at regarding it all!

Correct they are not a customer facing company in the slightest, there equipment there right's...

Re: Problems with Openreach engineers

My title deeds say there is an easement for utilities to do work or maintain the boxes on my land but at the end of the day it's still my land, not public property and I have a right at least to be told by them beforehand.  The estate I live in was built in the early 90s with no pavements on my street hence the gardens are bigger and some have service strips mine being one of them. I just wanted a contact number if there was someone I could speak to to get some clarification that was all

Re: Problems with Openreach engineers

Also, my deeds clearly state I'm responsible for those boxes because they are on my land so if I or anyone else damages them then we are liable for the damages.  So I don't want someone just rocking up in my garden and doing work without my prior knowledge.

@Peed-off

I am not sure why you are posting this on a Sky forum, its got nothing to do with Sky. Your gripe is with Openreach or whoever generated the easement to your property. Getting a number from this forum wont help you in the slightest as Sky will tell you to contact Openreach.

If there is specific wording in your easement that states prior notice needs to be given for routine works then you may have an argument with Openreach, however most easements will state that the that the utility provider can attend at any time to complete maintenance or works on their kit, installing a new customer would fall under works.
