My tplink and Extender will work with ethernet cable connecting to the router but I can't get it. To work wirelessly. I changed over to sky but it was working no problems with eir. What do I need to do?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreProbably wont work very well if at all. Sky's routers have a mesh system called Airties built into them which often causes issues with connecting 3rd party extenders.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Valeriemillie check the ethernet cable you are using if it only has 4 of the pins connected it wont work with a Sky hub set to Gigabit ethernet. Either get s fully wired cable or switch the hub to use fast ethernet.

I think OP has said that ethernet to the extender works fine, its wirelessly where it does not work.

It actually worked with sky last year then I changed to eir r with it working with no problems.. Now gone back to sky and it just doesn't pick it up at all now.
