I have gig fast from Sky but the WiFi is poor around my house, I'm sure it says guaranteed speeds 500 every room?

Nope, very far from that.

10Mb/s in every room if you have Sky Broadband Superfast 35, Superfast, Full Fibre 75 or Full Fibre 100.

25Mb/s in every room if you have Sky Broadband Ultrafast, Full Fibre 150, Full Fibre 300, Ultrafast Plus, Full Fibre 500, Gigafast or Full Fibre Gigafast.

@RICKSTA76

Having Gigafast as far as the router doesn't overcome the fundamental limitations of WiFi, which is always zero Mbs on the other side of a few walls or past some tens of metres of clear air.

Having said that, it does appear the Max Hub struggles in some environments, for reasons no-one is yet clear about.
