Slow internet speed

I pay for gigafast and I'm only currently getting 40-80mbs I have rest everything and sky are reporting no issues,

@Bullyxx88xx the normal cause of apparentvslow speeds on full fibre connections is thectest being run on a device connected by a poor wifi connection from the hub to the device. To get a reliable speed test fot a gigafast connection you need to be using a device with a gigsbit capable ethernet port using a direct ethernet cable. You can check the speed history Sky measure by running the Service Checker innthe My Sky app and clicking the Broadband link in my experience that slightly under measures.

Having said that you should see higher speeds in the room the hub is in say around 600Mb/s if its the black hub or 900Mb/s with the white WiFi Max hub. These will drop so 80Mb//s ia quite likely say 2 or 3 rooms away especiallyif your home has sold internal walls.

My router is black and is next to the device I am testing the speed on via ethernet cable. My glass TV buffers and it is impossible to watch TV at the moment.
