Broadband outage

So we had a local broadband outage from 6 30pm on 23rd July 23, this issues was resolved at around 11.30am on 24th July 23. However our Internet light is flashing orange and the voice light is solid amber on the hub.

Everyone else on the street (who is with sky) broadband is now working? Phoned sky and have to wait until wed 26th July for an engineer.

Anyone any idea why ours is the only one which is not working now? I'm a student midwife and obviously need my laptop etc for my work.

@Linz+jay if you haven't done so already reboot your hub by disconnecting the power for a few minutes. As thst can restore connections. Unfortunately when there is an outage it is a chance that a single line or hub is damaged by a voltage surge. It happens and it is just bad luck its your line that caught it.

Sounds like Sky and Openreach suspect line damage but currently the engineers will be pretty busy sorting faults caused by the recent storms. Unfortunately domestic connections are the lowest priority despite you using yours for work.
