Humax Aura won’t connect to Sky Hub

I recently moved my mum over to Sky Broadband and got her a Humax Aura DVR. It's the closest thing I could find to Sky Q without subscriptions as she only wants Freeview TV.
I installed the broadband and DVR on the same day and it all went smoothly but after a couple of days the Freeview stopped working.
I contacted Humax and they said do a factory reset but that didn't help so I exchanged it for a new one. Unfortunately I had the same issue.
After a lot of fiddling I connected it to the LAN and it started to work so now realise it was a WiFi issue all along.
No other devices have an issue with connecting to the hub and Humax say it must be a Sky Hub issue.
Any ideas?

@Kaidin if your mum has the white Sky hub try reducing the wifi security from wpa3-T to WPA2 as some devices have issues with the newer standard. The setting is in the My Sky app in the Advanced settings for the hub.

No it's the black hub.

I have just fitted sky wifi and my humax aura keeps switching back to wifi mode from free view mode. The only way to stop it is by turning of the Wi-Fi on the humax

Probably a mute point now, but if you have the opportunity to get a refund on the Humax Aura, then the Manhattan T4-R is a very solid Freeview Play device.
