@caesarome It is showing the correct number and all seems to be working fine. My daughter is just a little annoyed it says "no service" at the to p.

Hello!
I have tried this multiple times and it still hasn't changed it says my number will deactivate in 4 days.
My number transferred over a few weeks ago so I'm so confused on how to fix it!
Anything to help would be great!

Hiya,
It's the number I ported over from my previous network.
The message is displayed in Send& Recieve under iMessages. It also says in my icloud that the number will disappear after it's deactivated.
The temporary one I had shows up under My Number.

I have ported my number over 3 weeks ago and the number on the phone will not change.
I have gone to settings, changed the number manually, turned my phone off and back on again, and it will not change back to my original number. I have done this over and over again and still the number will not save.
The number works and shows up when I call out and it recieve calls but not showing as the number on the phone.
There is also a notification that pops up all the time saying 'remove and reinsert the SIM to keep using (number) for imessage and Facetime' which is annoying more than anything!!
Can anyone suggest what I need to try next!

Hi
Just moved my number to Sky. It is live but my iphone will not accept the new number. I have changed it in settings, saved it, switched the phone off and on a number of times. The number went live yesterday. I have logged out of Apple ID and back in, still no joy. What else can I try please?

Hi - I have done these steps now a few times and when I manually type in the number, press save it does not keep it and reverts to the mobile number attached to the new sim. I get messages saying that my old number will disappear in 14 days.

I Need help with this too. Ported number from EE, had text to say number now active with Sky. The number shows correctly in Imessage and Facetime, but it still shows the temporary 'Sky' number under my contact details on the phone.
have tried multiple times to chage it but it will not save and just reverts back to the initial sky number that cam ewith the phone. Ive turned off imessage and factime, restarted phone etc and nothing works. I can now only receive calls through wifi calling not whne im on 4 or 5G. I need this phone for work as i have to be in contact with engineers all over the country so need to resolve this asap!

Thanks im just seeing if there is another way as i cant afford to be without a phone whilst i wait for a replacement sim to arrive in the 'hope' that works!
