Hello all hope you are all well,
I recently got a leaflet from sky to say "i can now get full firbre broadband as it has arrived at your street" I currently have sky superfast and have been wanting to upgrade for years so was really happy when i got the leaflet. My broadband contract ran out last year with sky i have just kept it rolling went onto my account to upgrade but it says my current package is the fastest in my street ?????
guessing sky got a bit early with the leaflet they sent out 😞

It can take a number of weeks when the install of fibre has happened in your area to Sky's database showing you can order it.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@booboo1989 at the moment normal FTTP services are not able to be ordered - ignore FTTP on demand that is rarely available and costs a fortune. There will be a reason why Openreach have not opened orders as yet. Keep an eye on that checker when a line appears for plain FTTP appears Sky and other ISPs can place an order

You should be getting closer to 80Mbps with a possible guarantee of 61-67Mbps
If you run tests again per your image above and post the info in "more about your connection"

see this is different to what sky says my average is getting when I checked the other night I can't for the life of me find it now but my average and what they said my gursnteed minimum was between 48 and 39 so I am within that parameter. I am in mobile just now so website looks different will have a look when home later and send screenshot of what sky say is my minimum before I can get a refund.

I just put my slight speed drop down tk the fact I'm in a block of flats. They have also built a brand new block across from us and the ooenreach men are always at the green box putting new wires in so I thought that extra strain woukd slow things down a bit.
hooefully not to long until I can upgrade and get faster speeds in 2022 modern day broadband
