Do I get seperate router for ground and first floor?

Hi There.

I am thinking to take Sky Full Fibre 500 mb/s Broadband connection and I have a query please.
Do I get 2 seperate routers for ground and first floor or the hub that will be provided is strong enough to cater for all the rooms? Could someone please advise so I can go ahead and take the connection?
Currently I am with another provider where I got 2 eero routers for ground and first floor.

Many Thanks in advance.

Srinivas

@srinivasj  Sky will only supply one hub , should the singal not be strong enough you would need to purchase WiFi extenders to boost the single

Re: Do I get seperate router for ground and first floor?

You can actually cover the whole house with a single decent router. I am currently with Virgin Media waiting Sky 500 to be installed on 29th April.

My TP-Link router covers all over the house including the rear extended kitchen. Its a 3 bed mid terrace solid wall downstairs but plaster walls upstairs.

Most ISP router are cheap junk just enough to meet minimum and will lead you to scream later if you depending on them for Wi-Fi.

Keep that Eero mesh system and use with Sky.

Nope: you've got one router and one linked mesh node. Each Eero unit is equipped to act as a router, but only one will be doing so.
