We switch off tv at night then when we switch on the next day it generally says no internet connection can't access any apps so have to re boot tv every day ! We do have internet because wifi works on phones and other devices

@Karen46 what Sky do you have, Sky Q, Sky Glass or Sky stream ?
I may be a Sky Superuser but I am still just a Sky customer

Go to start up and stand by in the settings and make sure networked standby mode is on this should stop it
