"we can't activate your roaming passport plus right now"

When I arrived in Portugal, roaming passport was activated automatically at the cost of £2 without any problems. However the next day I received this message

 

'Hi. We can't activate your Roaming Passport Plus right now. To activate, you'll need to give us a call on +44 ....:

 

I called the number, which directed me to the website for managing mysky account so it's been no help at all. I remove the spending cap on my SIM (which shouldn't matter since I was nowhere near reaching it) but Im still without roaming data.

Sky can also be contacted via social media as there are links to their sites at the bottom of this page.

 

Other than that do you have a spend cap set and what is is set at so is it set high enough to cover the length of your stay.
