Rolling Contract and trying to upgrade

Hi.  I'm hoping someone might be able to help.

I have an iPhone XR and an iPad Air 4 which I'm trying to upgrade.  My iPhone XR is no longer showing in my devices, but I can still see it under my SIM plans.  I'm out of contract with both, but obviously still being charged for usage.  If I upgrade the iPhone XR and get a new sim and plan and what not, am I still going to be charged for the £16 I'm paying for the iPhone XR on top of my new plans?  I'm hesitant to upgrade until I have assurances.  I hope that all wasn't overly complicated!

I'm not clear if you have finished paying for the devices so that you own them or if you are still paying for them each month ?

If you are still paying for them then you will be give an amount for any device you upgrade and return to Sky, if it is enough to pay it off in full then this will be what happens. If not then the difference is added to the next available bill.

Re: Rolling Contract and trying to upgrade

Both devices are paid off and it's just the sim plan I'm paying for, however, if I go into the app and put two new devices through to the checkout area, I'm worried that I'd simply be adding two new sim plans while the other two are continuing......if that makes any sense.  Would I need to phone and cancel the first two?  It's a bit complicated sounding, I know.  Lol!

Hi @Liggy85  not sure if I am understanding you but you have two devices paid off and want two new ones ? If so you can't upgrade you simply add two phones to your basket, don't add sim plans and when the phones arrive just put your existing sims in the new phones.

As both devices are paid off you now longer upgrade these are you owe them.

If you are ordering two new devices then there should be an option to not order a new data plan. If there isn't just pick the cheapest plan and when the sims arrive do not activate them then they will be cancelled by Sky so you would not be charged for them.
