Calls, texts and data disappear for several days

Every 6 weeks or so, my data, calls and texts drop out for anything from 3 days to a week. I've tried resetting my APN to default and mucking about with Airplane mode. It still occurs with a new handset so can't be that. During these periods of unavailability, it's as though the oho e doesn't recognise I have my SIM in. I can turn my phone off and on and for 5 mins I get normal service then it drops out again

Perhaps it is an issue with the sim so if you haven't already then try contacting Sky so they can get you a replacement one sent out to try.
