I'm currently in France and before I came I bought a data eSIM to use instead of paying lots for sky.
I should be able to have both active so I can use one for data and the other (my sky sim) for calls. I cannot activate both at once though.
I've been in contact with the other provider and it's not something on their part.
My partner is also with sky and she has a physical Sim and hers works fine.
Any help gratefully received
Lisa

I suspect the phone does not allow dual eSIM usage in the manner you require. (A physical and eSIM may though)

Re: Trying to use two eSIMs abroad
If you use your Sky SIM and make calls then you'll incur the roaming charge anyway... Once the passport is activated you can use your data allowance as normal.
Do you need a data eSIM?

Re: Trying to use two eSIMs abroad
I don't want to make calls but have the availability for someone to call me from the UK. I bought a Holafly Data sim which is working fine for the data. As is stands I can't have both activated at the same time. My partner has a physical sky sim in her phone and also a Holafly eSIM and hers works fine

Agree I've heard of physical and eSIM combinations but not duel eSIM

Re: Trying to use two eSIMs abroad
I've notified anyone who may need to call me to use a data type one eg whatsapp call or FaceTime.
I will order a physical sim on return to UK for next time I'm abroad. At least it will keep spam calls at bay!

Re: Trying to use two eSIMs abroad
I've previously used an eSIM and physical sim but this was first time using two eSIMs. It's likely as others have suggested that my phone won't support two eSIMs.
Thank you
