I write with regard to the recent assistance provided to me by one of your team members Jay (Cardiff Office) User ID: JPD02 I have been a loyal Customer with Sky more then 13 Years and never had to compliant, but on this occasion it was very disappointing to call several times since February 2025 until present to get to the end result. In summary, I was having some problems in getting my Broadband upgraded to Fibre 500 and as Openreach never came to install on the day they promised to come. Jay assisted me with resolving my problem satisfactorily as well as ensuring that as a customer, I don’t suffer further inconvenience. I was initially served by other various customer reps and all providing different information every time I called. Jay has offered one of the best customer service I have seen so far. He understood my concern, listened to the problems I had faced and also apologized for the inconvenience I had been facing. Jay then actually took extra initiative to try and help me in resolving the matter and also dealing with my request. Jay has been very professional in his approach in dealing with this and provided what I would call an excellent customer service regards to Information Gathering, Communication, listening to the Customers, Focusing on the Customers needs and also Thinking Outside the Box. Jay was also prompt in returning my Phone Calls on time and very supportive too. With the above in mind, I am pleased to say that it’s a pleasure to do business with Sky and definitely good to be continue as a customer if such good service continues to be provided. I would strongly recommend Jay to your recognition team and would be pleased to put forward his name for any reward and recognition schemes that may be offered by the company to him for going the extra mile in keeping the customer happy.

Had a nightmare trying to connect my phone account to my broadband account cause it was set up incorrectly. I couldn't access my broadband account and it was terrible trying to work everything out, but Keneth was patient, caring and genuinely just enjoyable to be on the phone with. No one wants to be stuck talking to their provider, but he made it a actually enjoyable experience cause I knew he was on my side and trying to find a solution. He helped me through every step. He was kind, comforting and talked to me like a real person. I tried to tell him how appreciative I was on the call and asked where I could sing his praises, and he was so modest. give this huy recognition he is such an amazing asset.

Hi, I wanted you to pass on a big thank you to whichever Crew were by the Squirrel Pub, between Reading Road and Park Road yesterday (23/05/25) in Farnborough Hampshire, at 0835 ish in the morning. I have just contacted yourselves to move home. What is already a stressful process was just made so much easier with the person I spoke to. I spoke to Carol Anne (sorry unsure of spelling), who took me through every step clearly, professionally, but just that extra customer service with her clear, confident and concise delivery. Having been a customer services manager for many years I understand the difference between dealing with an enquiry and the way she dealt with the call. Just to say that, despite the delay, losing my old landline, and a few other installation teething problems, the people that came to install the broadband setup were lovely, and very respectful of my home. Also, despite not asking for it, I am so thankful to Sky customer services for automatically crediting my first bill for all the inconvenience. Now I am finally getting used to Sky, after being with a competitor provider for 20 years, I have to say I am loving my new HUGE TV, my broadband has been actually consistently faster than my previous provider (despite paying for 1gig package with both), and if the Puck needs rebooting, it does it SO MUCH FASTER than the dreadful old box I had from a competitor. So thank you for some lovely equipment and an excellent service, now it is all up and running.

Many thanks for a great experience using the Community Messaging Team. As a Superuser I embarrassingly had an Issue with my own Stream puck that I wasn't able to resolve. At my request my post was escalated for an online chat. The "Sky adviser" who dealt with my issue was very professional and asked all the right questions in a friendly way. Most importantly the issues was resoved quickly (puck needed replacing). I was very impressed. The chat thread didn't mention the advisers name but the origin notification was from @Addie15 . I would like to thank Jake for his help on 15/5/25. I had called sky as I was re-joining again, and I had not received my new sky box and packaging for my previous one although it said delivered. Jake sorted this straight away for me, offered me an upgrade to join Netflix which I was already paying for, so I saved money, and also credited my account due to the mix up with the deliveries AND made sure I would not be charged for the return of my previous sky box, which I was worried about. Jake was very helpful and made the process quick and easy for me. Great customer service 🙂

Thanks for sorting the problem with my SkyQ which 'died' at around 21:30 for no apparent reason and kept doing the same thing 5 or 10 minutes after I had unplugged the SkyQ box and restarted it etc. etc . until I gave up and left it unplugged and watched Freesat until I went to bed. It was so comforting to know that there were lots of Sky customers throughout the UK who had much the same issue and that I was not alone and with a dead SkyQ box. This lunchtime of course it was back to working normally so I surmise like many other loyal customers that it was yet another dodgy upgrade installed by one of your staff who never learn't the American Services message 'IF IT AIN'T BROKE DON'T FIX IT !' Just hope that there's no one at SKY going to start fiddeling again tonight !

I spoke with Ian on 15/05/2025 just after 10am. I am in the midst of moving home and my wifi box had not been delivered prior to the engineer installation. Ian resolved the issue in under 10 minutes and ensured the box came out via next day delivery. Ian took time out of his shift the next morning to ensure everything had been sorted and the box would be delivered on time. He was pleasant and friendly on the call and clearly had a great understanding of systems and processes. It was only a short call but it meant a lot to me to have someone be patient and understanding on the call with me. Ian showed he is a credit to the company.

After several hours attempting to set up Sky Broadband and speaking to Sky staff in many countries of the world most of whom had no idea of how to help me move my broadband from Now to Sky, I finally found Farhana in Newcastle. She was amazing. She assured me I would not lose my landline number (Most of your staff said I would) and talked me through the process of moving. She also assured me I did not need to buy a tablet to keep the cost of the connection down. This was suggested by a chap in India. He said the broadband would be £25 a month but it would be reduced by £4 a month if I used up unused data to part pay for a tablet. Saving £96 in 2 years on the cost of broadband and contributing to the cost of a tablet which would cost me £2.30 a month for 3 years. Farhana assured me the cost would be £21 a month with no need for a tablet. Farhana told me her manager is Stephen Wearmouth. I feel her service requires acknowledgement. Also, Lindsay had been very helpful. I spoke to her earlier in the day. She was unsure whether or not I could save my landline number and texted me at 6pm to say she had been in a meeting and was advised I could not keep my landline. She really tried to help me. This morning Susan, from Homemove, reassured me I could keep my number. She too tried her hardest to reassure me that the Broadband was set up and the landline safe. We had 2 different engineers show up 1st of May. One for the broadband and one for the TV. Excellent service from both of them. They went above and beyond to get me up and running after our move. They were kind and cheerful. One of them hung an old freeview cable that had come undone and was hanging very low, back up. He didn't have to do that. I hadn't even notice he had done it until well after he had left. That put a huge smile on my face. To have 2 different engineers with such great service is a credit to sky. This is why I have put in over 20 years of service with Sky. Thank you!

I rarely have positive reviews from my calls with sky (going on 10 years) however the lady who helped me yesterday was a 10+! She went above and beyond at the very end of the day to sort our account and even ensured I got what I was due back in less than 24hours which is amazing. I am gutted I missed her call as I would have loved to have thanked her personally. I did try ringing and getting back through to her but it seemed impossible 🤷♀️🙄 So Karen H you are the best person ever and I hope the rest of your team follow suit for future calls! I called to cancel sky completely after years of being with you because I sky seems to care about getting new customers & not looking after existing ones. I've tried to hold out to get a price I'm happy with but every adviser I've spoken to has not really cared, but then Ash answered the phone & she's your saving grace & an absolute credit to the company. She went above & beyond to help & couldn't do enough for me, she's calling back today as I had to sort my internet speed out as looking at a sky glass so if you're as good at your job as she is then I pray you track Ash down because she deserves to have her day made:)

Huge thank you to Aiden (really hope I remembered your name correctly) who helped me with renewing my ST contract. I'd spoken to a different colleague moments before, who'd arranged for the renewal but it didn't go through unfortunately, so Aiden went above and beyond, reapplying the tariff and arranging everything, including some upgrades I'd have missed out on for being a customer for 6 years. Ian came to our house on time and he was outstanding. We had a major problem with two of our boxes. It was a complex problem, but Ian took his time and explained the system once he had found the fault. He was not rushed, and he did not rush us with the answers to our many questions. Ian came to us on Thursday of this week commencing on Easter Monday, 2025 and our postal code is EH45. I would like the management at Sky to recognise Ian's outstanding performance and the fact that he went the extra mile for us. It was clear that when we moved into the house about 4 years ago the engineer who visited had not shown us the basic methodology but Ian made up for lost ground in every respect. Great work. Customer Service was helpful too in that the appointment was made for a date shortly after my request.
