Just had openreach come this afternoon and install a new fibre connection. Got my activation text shortly after they had left. The PON light has been flashing on the ONT while the sky router has only power and Wi-Fi lights on. Router won't connect to internet. Have tried numerous restarts of router and ONT. Is it a case of just leaving it to activate or should I be calling someone?
Am new to Sky and FTTP having previously had Virgin so apologies for the noobness

As @Highlinder points out activation can take up to midnight meanwhile the gpon ont will continue trying to connect. Eventually it should turn solid green

Thanks, does the ONT need a reboot or anything to help it along?

Was away for the weekend and came home to the PON not flashing anymore but a red LOS light 😞
