My Sky/Now BB came with the older SR203 router. I currently & always use a wired connection, as I prefer it for various reasons.
Does anyone know how I can tell for sure that the wifi is off, as I definitely do NOT want it to be on in the background.
I can`t see any on/off switch on the router. So how can I be certain that it`s permanently turned OFF?
Should I perhaps email the Sky team regarding whether it`s on or off???

It should be under the Wireless section :
Enable Wireless Access Point - make sure this is unticked.
Allow Broadcast of Name (SSID) - make sure this is unticked.

No-one has put a physical switch on a router for a very long time.
As @caesarome indicates, there's a software setting, and by default you'd see a Sky SSID being broadcast if WiFi was active (although you'd need a wireless device to detect this)

Note: I switched to Ethernet due to being worried that constant bombardment with 5g wireless radiation (6g coming soon) might endanger my health and cause cellular damage to the body.
5G ('fifth generation') cellular network broadcast from towers and masts is completely different to 5Ghz domestic WiFi. The apparent similarity is an unfortunate coincidence in nomenclature.
I've moved your post out of the public forum because that external link isn't appropriate here.
