Replacing sky hub by tp-link router

Just bought a new tp-link ax5400 Ax72pro, would like to replace the sky hub, but just cant get the internet connection.  What can i do to fix it?

@JnJ to use a third party router in place of a Sky hub requires the router to be able to be configured to support the authentication requirements Sky set which vary. So before forum members can answer your question please post what service are you buying from Sky, (eg Superfast or Ultrafast etc), whether it is delivered over full fibre or using a copper line and lastly if you are in the UK or Ireland.

Thanks for reply, i am using ultra fast network, trough an openreach box on the walk ,and i am located in UK.

That would be called an Openreach ONT.

In this case you connect your TP-Link router from the WAN port to port 1 on the ONT. Then on the TP-Link routers admin interface, enable IPv6 PD and leave IPv5/WAN to automatic and it should connect itself

I have just purchased the same TP-Link and was curious if this set up worked for you, in case I need to return it! Did this completely remove the Sky Hub from the set up? Thank you!
