New WiFi max not as good as previous wifi

We have just set up Sky WiFi Max in our 4 bed house but the signal can drop out at certain places in the house.

With the previous wifi set up we had it was brilliant and  never did this, we even have an extra booster now too....how could this be an upgrade??.

wish I never agreed.

"don't fix what's not broke" is a great saying!!

@GPR0304 you are not the only person ro report this. Can you confirm the hub is in the same posituon as the okd toutercand what model that  router was.

It is worth raising this with Sky as they need to be aware of the issue.

Re: New WiFi max not as good as previous wifi

Yep same here, broadband contract was up for renewal so was given WiFi Max to improve WiFi & resign for 24 months.

Since having it I can't get WiFi in upstairs back bedroom or summer house that was fine before without a booster that they had to send but won't send another so either bedroom or summer house.

personally I really wish I hadn't bothered.

I have a new 2tb UHD box coming so i can use 2 mini boxes as well as the main box & dreading what headaches that will cause me
