Hello, yesterday I ordered a phone for my wife, it was supposed to be a surprise, there was information that it was free next delivery, today I received an e-mail that the shipment will take up to two weeks? what this is about? I can't get any information on when exactly I will receive the call! you are hopeless

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThe information on the website regarding delivery is not always the accurate as it depends on factors like how quick the credit agreement was signed and the availability of the device in question.

You may not be aware but this is a customer to customer forum and you aren’t contacting Sky Customer Services by posting on here.
The delivery timescales on the website are not that accurate probably due to the high amount of stock movement.

lol don't rely on what the website or sky advisors say, I've been told 32 different things regarding my iPad, even one guy who claimed it wasn't even on order sadly for him a top manager telephoned me while I was on the phone and he abruptly ended the call, so the manager is taking action against him, sky are the worse company to order from, they must only get a mere 2 devices per shipment, yet still take upfront payments for orders they can't fulfill for weeks even months which is breaking the advertising laws even by putting "expect delivery in more than 4 weeks" legally it can't be anything less than 7 weeks, if your device hasn't arrived when advised make a complaint, demand a deadlock letter then let CIFAS handle it from there, and consider a new provider, if you feel your being pushed from side to side,
i really hope your device is delivered to your wife soon buddy but my straight up advice is to call a manager and ask them to call the tech team for a upto minute stock update, if your told unsure then your fully entitled to terminate your contract and use a different provider, you could argue to have the hard search removed also as you were shown inaccurate information at point of sale regardless of what anyone says, you can and by doing this you contact Experian
and for the admin, taking down posts that legally entitles me and other forum members to use the term "other provider" is a sign of how dishonest, misinformed customers are being led to take out credit agreements which is a legal binding contract on both sides that sky consistently breaks by using the term "more than 4 weeks" the whole point to a forum is from a real users perspective not monitored by paid or affiliated users for sky forums, sky consistently breaks launch day on phones especially apple products, there's a specific company who gets first dibs on Apple products and it's won the best customer experience awards for over 6 years straight, remove this for any reason i expect a full explanation as to where I've broken any rules and P.S I'm a gold VIP with sky, out of curiosity has sky mobile won any awards for anything?
