I am looking to swap my mobile which is in great condition, the screen is perfect, there is probably a few small scratches but I have had it in a case since having the phone and screen protecters, the battery health is 90%.
I currently have £500 roughly left to pay for this phone. There is nothing wrong with the phone, I just would like a new one of the upgrades. I am worried though it'll be too much for me, or the value of the phone will be lowered once swapping to a new phone.
Please can anyone help me with this? and how does this work etc?
Thanks

you about the condition of the phone and based on what you say they will give you a value for it. You don't have to accept it if you don't want but if you do and it isn't enough to pay it off they will add the difference to a future bill.
Before returning it take a number of photos so if needs be you can show what condition it was in when you sent it off and also make sure you get and keep proof of posting.

I have seen numerous reviews from this though that they give you the value of the phone online but then lower it once you have sent it to them and then they add more to the bill.

Find out moreWhen you device is returned it will be inspected so they can sometimes give you a lower value if they believe it is not in the condition that you said it was in but you can challenge this which is why I suggested taking some photos to show what it was like when you returned it.

Of course, only 'bad' news is reported via the forum - we have no idea what percentage this amounts to. I suspect the majority are close to the estimated value.
I recently did a trade in with a rather large phone company and they initially offered me £100 and subsequently £0 when they said the charge port wasn't working. I rejected the offer and it charged just perfectly when they returned it...
Same here - you don't have to accept their offer (and can challenge it if you have evidence) and have the phone returned. But the full balance does then become payable.
