Can I use a sky sim in my o2 iPhone without needing it unlocked

I have just ordered a sky sim only plan but my iPhone is on o2 will it work when I put my sky sim in it.

Hi @Robynne91  you will need to check if your phone is unlocked by O2. Your sky sim will work with any unlocked phone. You will need to ask O2 if your phone is unlocked.

Hi. Based on my experience, No you can't. I had a phone on o2 and a Sky sim would not work.  I had to purchase an unlock code online.. Wasn't expensive, but was a pain.

From I put that post up I have been able to use a sky sim in my o2 phone and haven't had a issue with it

I didn't need an unlock code I just chanced it and it worked.
