I spoke with Isabelle this morning (9.15ish on 05/08/2024)on the phone for help with a problem with Netflix on my Sky Q mini box not loading. She was really knowledgeable and helpful, so polite and friendly and was an absolute pleasure to speak with. At no point did she make me feel stupid for not knowing something and really gave the impression that she wanted to help fix our problem and that we were 'in it together' - she was even patient when my 2 year old was showing me her plaster! Been having some pin issues with sky glass and couldn't get in as it couldn't recognise mob number or bank details correctly to get past set up. This was an issue on sky's end and not a case of me forgetting this info. i got through to a handler who was extremely robotic and textbook which I could not rdeal with as the call was getting frustrating. Then got put through to another handler Jaz i think, but I could tell she was new to the role/not very confident as she was putting me on hold for extremely basic things. I asked to be transferred to someone more well trained and thankfully it was Emily skyid: emg07 that i was put through to. Emily is a credit to Sky customer service and her team. She was efficient, swift, helpful, patient and she did not put me on hold for frivolous things. Calling Sky customer services is an extremely dreaded task but if every handler was like Emily, your customer service would be rated A+ The line dropped at one point and i had no faith in her calling me back as nice as she was because the handler didnt the last time this happened - but she did!! She helped me through each screen and thought on her feet to problem solve a very awkward issue for me! i hope that her manager sees this because honestly Emily was a star and actually turned my mood around after dealing with other handlers! Thank you again Emily! You deserve lots of recognition in work for your amazing service! (Give this girl a promotion/pay rise!)

The process for replacing Sky Q products when the HD has issues is superb! It’s been causing a problem for months (not connecting to the mini box, kept reactivating the network and main box connections, kept trying to update software when it was already done) but was desperately bad over the weekend (couldn't watch recordings, couldn't record or download, couldn't connect to mini box at all). I went through the help pages, reset the HD with no improvements so I requested a new productwhich arrived within 13 hours! Incredible! I thought there was a further issue with my mini box but replacing the main box has fixed things. Thank you!

Just wanted to say a huge thank you you Luke the Sky Engineer who visited me on 5th Feb. We had been suffering from a really frustrating broadband issue which had dragged on for weeks. BT Openreach had tried and failed to fix the issue and it was only when Luke came to the house that he really got to the bottom of things. Luke was clearly passionate and skilled and was so open and friendly. He spent time diagnosing the problem and then meticulously worked to fix the problem. I was seriously set on leaving Sky as a customer at the end of my contract (which is now) until I met Luke. The company should be seriously proud to have him as an ambassador and as an engineer visiting customers. He is an absolute diamond, thanks again Luke you're a gentleman and an absolute credit to Sky.

I contacted Sky move and spoke with a lovely employee called Maggie. She was able to sort out my home move and even managed to save me some money but putting the broadband into comparison.l meaning I would pay the same price not the £10 increase. She recognised that I am a Sky customer and have been for the past 6 years and thanked me for taking Sky with me. She went above and beyond and was very cheery and polite throughout the call. Liam could not of been more helpful, he was very talkative putting me at ease straight away, extremely knowledgeable and explained every detail in a way I could understand, which I was grateful for. Hi @Gavin We were due to have our broadband installation on Monday 3 December 2024. However as I booked an engineer on a 1~6 slot as we had appointments in the morning. The outreach engineers left a note to say they had missed us. But would nit be back. I phoned sky services & dealt with Leilla. She was so professional, helpful pleasent & went above & beyond to resolve this situation. She said she would call me back later on rhat day & she DID. I just want you to know her customer skills were (are) excellent. I felt her need to help us to get a definite resolution. She is an asset to your team, & I would like you to know what a pleasure it was to have dealt with her. She organised everything for today to go ahead with the installation ~ & it did go ahead! Firstly a great big thanks to Gareth from Wales, what an absolute joy to deal with, from start to finish nothing was too much trouble, an excellent employee, did what he said he was going to do, and got on with his job, you need more Gareths in your company. Your call centre overseas had no clue, as always, even saying I hadn't paid my bill, in fact I had been billed twice for the same thing, I know they must be cheaper to employ, but what's the point if they get everything wrong, and it's every time the call gets through to them, I dread the accent, and try again until I get a UK voice. Been having an issue since signed up for sky unable to connect to broadband on a certain tv, after being passed around a lot and being told it was a tv issue (being put through to Samsung for 40 minutes) I finally got through to a tech guy this morning I think he said his name was Reece. I spoke with one of the trouble shooting team at 8.30pm today as my Sky Q box wasn't working. I thought I would be met with an out of hours message but was pleasantly surprised someone was available to help me. I regrettably didn't catch the person's name but he was really helpful and managed to fix the issue. I was conscious of the late hour but nothing was too much trouble and he helped me through step by step and managed to explain it to me (I'm not a tech savvy person) without being condescending. I had a bit of a meltdown as my Internet connection failed after an engineer had been round to increase my bandwidth. Bobby was AMAZING. I've worked in customer services for 25 years and I've NEVER come across someone better than him. He totally knocked my socks off. Patient, kind, diligent - just total professionalism. I am a total technophobe and he was utterly brilliant at guiding me through my blind panic to a successful conclusion. I really can't thank him enough. I just wanted to say thank you to Franklyn who I spoke to today 07/08/2023 between approximately 12,15pm-13:30pm to discuss my Sky TV renewal. Franklyn was polite and friendly and provided the information I needed to renew for another 18 months. I don't know where Franklyn was based but apparently the temperature was 32 degrees so clearly not in the UK today. I promised to complete the customer satisfaction survey which he said would be emailed to me but I never received this (may be because of the settings on my account). I'd like to say a big thank you to both @Kate and @julia for helping us get better internet speed and a better deal than our existing contract. They both were really friendly and helpful and Kate sent an engineer out to replace the socket as she was unhappy with the internet speed and didn't want to renew our contract if the speeds were too slow . @Andrew came on time and was really good and just changing the socket nearly doubled our internet speed which was excellent. A couple of days later I called again and spoe with Julia who put us on the lowest price available imma=ediately and was very helpful so I am really happy with the service. Over the last 3 years I have been suffering with severe long covid and my husband has had to take on lots of the jobs I used to do like the internet and he also wants to say thank you in general as sky made it easier for him to take over than some of the organisations he's had to deal with over the last few years! Every time I turned on my TV, it said there was not internet connection. My SkyQ box appeared to be working but I only had access to recordings and the TV guide. The mini boxes in two other rooms were not working at all. I called Sky, thinking that I would need to organise a visit so the main box could be repaired or replaced. I spoke with a lovely man called Constantine, who said that he could probably help me fix the problem over the phone and he did! I discovered that my recording box was 100% full so deleted many series I had recorded and the box was up and running again! He also talked me through connecting the other 2 boxes. He was so helpful, knowledgable and patient. I was very pleased with the service

Just wanted to send a huge thanks to Matthew who installed my Sky dish on our home move on Monday 1st August. Turned up on time, was polite and very professional throughout the visit. He was very careful in siting the dish and managed to almost completely hide the cable via a guttering downpipe so it's not visible from the garden and not a speck of dust or rubbish anywhere. Very helpful in letting me know details of the wireless router and why I should avoid renaming the SSD. The fact that he saw the Sky employee charity days as really positive events that he looked forward to (he viewed them as perks) speaks volumes of his work and personal ethics. Absolutely top marks.

We recently had a visit from a Sky engineer, Darrell M., to resolve ongoing issues with our Sky Mini box in the garden annex and the main box not connecting to the router. Job No - VR046895501 From the moment Darrell arrived, he was incredibly polite and patient. He took the time to listen to what I had already tried, acknowledging my efforts and experience without dismissing my input. This level of respect and consideration set the tone for an outstanding service experience. Darrell went above and beyond in providing exceptional customer service. He was determined to leave us with a fully resolved issue, and his commitment was evident throughout the visit. Despite encountering numerous hurdles, he worked tirelessly and adapted to each new challenge with reassuring confidence. His extensive knowledge and passion for his work were clear, making him an invaluable asset to Sky. Darrell's expertise and dedication truly stood out, and we felt fortunate to have someone of his calibre assisting us. I would like to thank our Sky engineer Justin who visited today. He thoroughly investigated the issue that we were having with connectivity and fully explained to me what appeared to be happening. He took the time to draw diagrams of how the system works to highlight the probably cause of the issue. Despite it being the end of the day, I felt that he geniunely wanted to ensure we had a proper solution before he went home. On a personal note, we had an unfortunate encounter with an unpleasant, aggressive neighbour during Justin's visit. (This was not a Sky issue, it just happened at the same time). I would just like to express my gratitude for the concern Justin showed for myself and my son. His support was much appreciated and was above and beyond his role as a Sky engineer. I'd like him to know that the neighbour has now apologised for his behaviour. I hope that Justin and his family have a lovely Christmas. Thank you.

We have had a few issues getting our new fibre installation to our home, mostly due to miscommunication between Openreach and Sky. Shamise has been amazing, going above and beyond to try and help us get installed. Her friendly manner and efforts were very much appreciated and the Openreach engineer installed our broadband/phone/TV today and we are all up and running! Thanks are also due to Leanne who helped confirm our number ported forward OK and helped with diagnostics on our new connection when one room was too far to get the wifi signal. A huge thank you to Mel from Sheffield. Her customer service was brilliant, she resolved our long standing technical issues even though it was an area outside of her field of expertise. She was the first agent to treat us like humans, showing empathy and excellent problem solving skills. She rang back when promised and is an excellent ambassador for your brand! Engineer Shaun went above and beyond to get our satellite sorted out. He could have done what others have done and told us to get trees chopped, or told us he couldn't do anything, but he didn't. He spent a lot of time and effort, moving our dish, and figuring out the best way to secure it into position, he was patient, professional, knowledgeable, and overall a great person. Thank you.
