my ont for fber is under my stars do i need to keep my router with all the cables plugged in under the stars also my phone which plugs into the back of the router

The ONT links to the Hub by ethernet cable: acquiring a longer cable (up to 100 metres) permits the Hub to be relocated, subject to there being access for that single cable.

It's also possible to put a Powerline network adapter link between the two locations, although this has the potential to throttle bandwidth.
