It can go live at any time during the day of activation (mine went live at 11am). You should get an sms when it active.

Has both the outside (CSP) and inside (ONT) installation work been completed?

Re: Going full fibre
If you mean the installation work is due to be done, then clearly activation cannot happen and data won't flow before the physical circuit is completed. After that it may take up to midnight for internet access to be possible.

Re: Going full fibre
As I understand it Openreach do the cabling etc on Friday and then wait for a message from Sky to say it's now live, is that correct?

@gray100 normally the engineer will connect one of your devices and demonstrate the connection as part of the installtion visit. However it has been observed that for faster connections like the 900Mb/s the full bandwidth can take few hours to become available.

Re: Going full fibre
Unfortunately, the engineer we got was useless to put it politely! Luckily another turned up to do a neighbour's connection a few hours later and solved several problems for us. Because router was moved to a different part of the house had to wait until a new wifi card arrived before everything settled down.
