Not sure if it's related but I was a sky Boardband user and ended the contract but keep the tv etc.
I move over to NOW TV who use Skys network.
Well all looked great for a cupple of months using the same 61/MER info.
But about 3 weeks ago my speed started to drop, was 67mb and 17mb. So plugged in the nowtv box and confirmed I had problems.
Called up and got a BT engineer booked, well 4 engineers later and still not right I get 42mb and 8.
I've lost G.inp too I've noticed.
Now I'm wondering if it's the fact I've gone from sky too 3ed party sky,(now tv) and the speeds I get seem to be capped.
BT engineer says in on a 80/20 and should be more 70ish and 17 mb up.
Has anyone got any info on this. I will be calling for another enginerr on monday.

Could you post your dsl settings. Depending on the 3rd party hub we would be looking for whether you are fastpath or interleaved , noise margins, lime attenuation , speedsetc. Basically any fault that brings the noise margin to 6db or loses g.inp

NowTV Broadband is Sky Broadband but with a slightly different contract: that's how they can use Sky Hubs with a different badge. NowTV is a subsidiary of Sky Group.

Yes, so am thinking, something may of messed up there as there must of been some sort of swap. Am not sure maybe I've just got a bad cable all sudden, roadworks or something just 4 engineers 8hrs + checking and nothing fixed.

When was the last time openreach attended ?
You are interleaved with a level of 839 which is high and no amount of enabling g.inp would make up the speed difference . Are you swapping between hubs a lot?
Can you install your sky hub and post its stats
Also with the sky hub can you run tests from your my sky app and post the info in more about your connection

Right first engineer was here 2 week ago friday, he was here 4 hrs I had G.inp but speed was poor after he finished he said should settle in a week. After a week still not right, 48mb down 8mb up, so I called again, next engineer was last week Wednesday, yet he was here 20-30 min and now no G.inp and as you see above, so I call up again Thursday and next day got a next enginerr for Friday morning he was here for a hr or so said went to 1 man hole, then said it was something he had no equipment to test. Than that afternoon a 4th engineer turned up and said other was a trainee and I explaned it all, he was at another manhole 1-2 hrs then vanished.
P.s when the 3ed engineer was at the man hole he was still getting the above on his device. As I had a look and he said for a 80/20 line I should of been getting more as I'm close to the cab

I have been swaping devices, since I got the first problem, I only connect the nowtv device before I call tec support, its easyer for them when testing and when they do line tests else it's my device connected.
I'm not able to connect there device till monday now, as what net I have I'll get jumped on if off.
But will do then and try as you requested. Will the sky app work with now tv box, yet still have tv etc
As I think this could be causing me hassle. The sky stuff conflicting with NOWTV were I was with sky.

So called isp up again and got another booked.
Last night around 1am ish I DC and reconnected and now G.Inp is enabled and speeds have increases a small amount.
Also the hub info you requested.
Just noticed is that the normal dns servers now, I use auto but if my mind right was it not .97 .99 at the end?

So been a week since I called and this is my output.
As you can see things are better, but my upload speed is not increaseing. Yesterday it was 10467. So I'm still thinking something is wrong. More pointing to upload?
Will hassle them more on monday

Well I was getting 67mb down 17mb up. Yes all speeds matter.
Also upload signal is not dropping like the download pointing more that a fault there.
Also I still notice internet issues, and upload would explane it.
Will call them up as they was ment to get back to me.
Only other thing is sky are holding me back. As the openreach engineers have said I should have good 80/20 net as I am close to the cab all the engineers have said that as I'm a little town with not a big demand. Close to the cab then gos to the exchange.
So what am I to do if that's what they tell me?

So what could cause the up line to have faults yet the down line seems clean?
Also the boardband aviliabity checker from BT dose not have my address-street!

So it's been 10 days my download has kind of returned but my upload has not.
