Bills not being processed

Anyone share any information please. 

My debit card expired, I updated it & every month I'm getting emails saying its not been paid so ended up paying for 2 months after assuming all OK. Checked details all correct, called sky they say call bank but everything is as it should be. Money is in bank & just frustrating.

Wouldn't it be easier just to setup a direct debit as you just provide your bank account details so a debit card would play no part in it.

Sorry - should've said. I'd already set up the direct debit its just not being processed. Any help much appreciated.

I'm not sure there is much you can do, so what has your bank said ?

Looks like I'll have to get in touch. Just as stressful as getting in touch with sky 🙃 thank you for your help.
