Returning customer using same email address, unable to access new account due to old one

Recently came back to Sky. When I try to create new account, says email already in use. 

When I log on to sky - shows old account as closed more than 2 years ago.

I have tried to edit email address to replace it with another so I can set up new account.

Each time I click on edit email address it returns me to MY details page

Any suggestions?

The easiest thing to do is to use a different email address when you sign up to Sky again as a new customer.
