I recently cancelled my sky contract. I watched a few paid channels which I have sorted out to watch through a different platform. However, I watch Channels like PTC Punjabi which is Free To Air only on SKY. I have a SKY Q box and which I will be returning because I have loaned the equipment. I do have a spare SKY HD box, but unsure it will be compatible with my dish ( installed when I subscribed to SKY Q ). Is there still hope to watch these Sikh/Punjabi/Indian channels, as I do also watch channels like Sikh channel. Or is there a alternative platform where I can watch these type of channels? Thanks

The alternative is Freesat, which has increasingly few channels because it's simply too expensive for the channel owners to cover the data transit cost. Some may be available online.
As @Mark39 indicates, a Sky+ HD used as a free to air satellite receiver would require an LNB change. A Freesat 4K box will work through a Q LNB, but check the channel availability first because the hardware is quite expensive.
