F1 Highlights have the results first thing

Dear Sky team,

You have time before the 2026 season to fix one of the biggest problems with otherwise excellent F1 coverage. The running order before the highlights. Whenever I record the highlights, the first 5 minutes of the recording has the results! Because the schedule running order has the highlights immediately after another F1 show, the results are plastered all over the screen right when you press play. It's not always 5 minutes, sometimes it can be longer or shorter. And that is a problem.

I'm certain there must be other F1 fans with this frustration.

@Onamatapoeic Unfortunately catching the end of the previous programme when recording the next programme is largely unavoidable. Without the recording starting a few minutes early, the risk of missing the start of the programme increases. 

Presumably, downloading the highlights from On Demand would resolve this, assuming the highlights are available at the time you want to watch.

Thanks for your answer. It makes sense. Sadly due to F1's media rights licensing, it's not available via Sky OD. Neither are the races. Shame because that would absolutely solve it.

The viewer relations team suggested above agreed with the issue and have passed it onto the F1 team ahead of the season. Let's see!

I always watch the race from On Demand

Ah, must be just me then!

I suppose it makes sense. I am grandfathered into Sky F1 HD and don't subscribe to it. I don't have any sports OD. 

oh well! On the plus side, I pay a lot less for it than I would otherwise. Hopefully they will fix it.

I'm confused. If you don't subscribe to Sky Sports F1, you can't record the highlights in the first place.

Thanks helping OJ. Yes, it's a long story but it's a good bet that's why I can get it on OD
