For other festive content, if there are any fans of the Mistletoe Murders crime mystery podcast series on Audible, ITV X have got the rights to the Hallmark TV show which covers the first 2 seasons.
Thanks for that, just watched the first episode of series 1.
Really enjoyable.

Is anyone here a Stranger Things fan? Binged the recent 4 episodes and was really impressed. Very glad they done a recap on the first episode, felt like I had forgotten the whole story line. Looking forward to the next finales

I hadn't seen it until a month or so ago, until one of my mates recommended I watch it, so binged the first 4 seasons - although I have to admit initially it took me a while to get into it & even then a few twists lost me.
Even though I had only recently watched it, it was useful to get the recap.
Waiting on the remaining final episodes to drop

Thanks for this @MarkGoldsmith & @lettice
I did spot it & thought it might be me - although I have only just started watching it it reminds me a lot of another Hallmark Series I saw a a couple of seasons a while ago on Acorn TV (although currently they show as expired rights) - The Aurora Teagarden Mysteries
(I actually liked that series of mysteries so much I got the full original series (before a change of lead actor) on DVD import (that actually turned out to be region free)

I'm going to need to watch the Netflix recaps for all the previous seasons before starting the final one. I feel a bit sorry for the Duffer Brothers. They had a plan for ST, which was to have a 5-season story arc spread over 5 consecutive years, which would have meant the kids in S1 would still be kids in S5. Due to Covid & various Hollywood strikes, that hasn't happened. It is now 9 years since S1, & the actors are all in their early twenties. I feel the Duffer Brothers have probably had to have a rethink on how their story panned out.
Anyway, I'm waiting until the remaining episodes drop before I start S5.
@nigea99 I'm a bit envious that you have only recently watched it. I kind of wish I could be starting it now from S1. It hasn't been quite the same with all the long gaps between each season.

Re: What's your must watch shows? 📺
@Mr+Ripley agreed with all of that, a really brilliant story that probably made sense to be a bit more streamlined but completely out of everyone's control. It's a series you could probably watch again later and piece together bits you've forgotten over the breaks, or even just to make sense of the storyline.
I have high hopes for a good/shocking ending though 🤞- Is it all in their head, is it just an intense game of D&D from when they were children, ohh we'll see

@Chloe-W22 Get ready to put some time aside for the season finale. It has a runtime of 2 hours 5 minutes, Stranger Things the Movie basically. It is even being screened in cinemas in the US & Canada, but not here in the UK, though.

I'm not a Stranger Things fan, so I'll put some time away to stay away from my partner for 2hrs - thanks for the warning @Mr+Ripley 😂

Currently really enjoying The Infinite Explorer with Hannah Fry.
Also, the second season of Daddy Issues on BBC. It's humour really gets me.
As does Abbott Elementary, nearly finished season 4.
Also watching The Iris Affair with 3 episodes remaining and The Beast In Me With 2 episodes left.

Re: What's your must watch shows? 📺
I enjoyed Alien Earth.
It held well throughout the series with a different path for the franchise.
Plenty of action making each episode a good watch.
Been so much good watches on Disney of late, I have kept thinking to watch it again. Might do so sometime over the holiday period.
Looking forward to S2 next year.
