I am at my wits end trying to find code to sync Sky+ remote to my Polaroid P32RN0038K tv. I've been passed from Sky to Polaroid to Asda, back to Sky to Polaroid and on and on for over a week and I'm getting really fed up. It really can't be that difficult, I know there is a 4 digit code that works as I used it for previous remote but I've been handed over 15 different ones that don't work. Please anyone help??? 😡

To give it a try:
1. Press 'TV'
2. Press Select and the Red button together until the Red LED on the Sky remote blinks twice.
3. Key in 990 on the remote.
4. Press '1' and count the number of times the LED blinks. The number of blinks equals the first digit of the code. If there's no blink, it's 0.
5. Press '2' and count the blinks to identify the second digit of the code, and so on for the 3rd and 4th digits.
Once you've got all 4 digits, programme the new remote and see if it works.

Thanks @Mark39
A four year old post, but still works a treat to enable the setting up of the £5 remote just delivered by eBay.
One point to note, all light blinks need to be counted. I'd originally thought that the first blink was merely recognising the button press.
