Sky + multi room

We have swapped an obsolete sky + box for a secondhand box but are unable to access any channels other than the free view ones

What do I need to do to get the extra channels we are paying for?

You will unable to do anything as it isn't possible to pair a viewing card to a replacement Sky+ box and hasn't been since last year. From now on in if you want Sky in multiple rooms you would need to upgrade to Sky Q, Stream or Glass.
