Hello Preddys, I am planning to buy a TP Mifi router and since I rolled loads of data was planning to use my current mobile phone sky SIM card. How easy was it to make it work? Need to get this right as going to France in 3 weeks and will need to work on the road from place to place, thxs a lot isabelle

ita fairly straight forward.
you'll need to download the TP app to your phone then connect to the device though you phones wifi.
once connected go into settings then apn and input the following.
Select Tools - Internet settings - APN management
Click + in the top right hand corner
Enter the following:
Profile name - sky
APN - mobile.sky
leave everything else blank
Click done
restart and you're device should be working.

Thanks so much for this @Otley1 . I've spent hours trying to research ways to fix this, but it's now sorted! such a simple thing, and frustrating that Sky don't provide this information.

I have used the following on the Apn
Sky
mobile.sky
and still cannot get the TP-Link 7350 to connect to the internet
Any more ideas ?

Thanks, but the Tplink doesn't seem to allow spaces in the Sky Mobile Internet ?

Hi I’ve put a sky sim in my HUAWEI mobile router it’s activated all lights on the router but I’ve got no internet am I assuming that it’s not going to work so should cancel my sky

Follow the instructions in the initial post
I had a similar problem as i did with a previous box and the way to resolve it is to do the following
1. Open up the TP Mini app
2. Select Tools - Internet settings - APN management
3. Click + in the top right hand corner
4. Enter the following:
Profile name - sky
APN - mobile.sky
leave everything else blank
5. Press done
6. Restart the midi box and it should work fine

The steps I set out is the detail, there is nothing more I can add
if you follow you should resolve
if not call sky and they should be able to advise - you might want to highlight the post to help them
