I received a call from someone pretending to be from sky today and offered me a discount to my subscription. Upon allowing them to access my account (silly me) they ordered 2 Samsung S25 headsets which are being delivered tomorrow to my address. I have informed the sky fraud team about this and they are sending a returns bag, I just wondered if I refuse the delivery's tomorrow will they be returned to sky and therefore cancelling the orders. This has never happened to me before. Many thanks for any input

I wouldn't refuse the delivery as you need to make certain that these are returned to Sky as per this:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/account-takeover
If you receive an unexpected parcel from Sky get in touch with our customer services team immediately. We can give advice on what to do. Don’t send the parcel anywhere except our returns address.
We’ll give you pre-paid returns packaging to send the parcel back to us.
If you haven't already I would alos change your password on your account:
https://skyid.sky.com/resetpassword/

Re: Scam
I've spoke to the sky fraud team to make them aware earlier today. How long does the returns bag take to get to me and also will I be charged for these items on my next bill even though I have reported the fraudulent activity? I just want them returned ASAP as I have a budget for bills and keep within my limits, this will more than likely tip me way over

No idea, can't be more 3 or 4 days I would have thought.

Hi @Pr13cey,
Exactly what @caesarome has advised above, the fraud team would've advised you to accept the delivery, and with your returns packaging send these back to Sky. Any further questions or queries please give this team a ring and they can support you. I'm really sorry this has happened!!!

Re: Scam
Hi, this has also happened to my mum as she recieved an iPhone and apple watch. The scammer wanted her to return it to a different address then was on the box. Having spoken to Sky they have sent me 2 return envelopes to send each item in. The address however is still different from the takeover one on their website. Don't know now if I'm being really paranoid. Also on her account it doesn't say on the bills that she will be charged for these items. Any advice on the return address would be appreciated.

No, I would advise you contact Sky again to confirm. Ensure you only call the official numbers.

Re: Scam
I have done that but at first he said a different address and then when I asked about the postcode I had he said it could be another company they use!

Re: Scam
All sorted, spoke to sky today and they managed to get the equipment returned to them before leaving dpd so orders have been removed from my account. Definitely a lesson learned.
