Is it ok to switch off my broadband at night or does it cause problems

Find out more@Julieann6063 Sky do run housekeeping and push updates to your hub overnight so you run the risk of those being done during the day when you are using your system. The same applies to some of your devices and apps which also update themselves when the systems is not otherwise in use.
You wont break anything by turning the system off at night but life could be more irritating. The amount of power saved will be minimal if thst is your concern, various reviews give varying values but consumption seems around 6watts which means if you turn the unit off for 8 hours every night is around £5 of power at £0.3 per unit.
