Hi,
Same story again here.
I have returned my equipment before the due date early January, and I found out 2 months later that I had been charged £185 because according to Sky I hadn't returned the equipment. Like many others, impossible to find the receipt after so long.
I've contacted Sky twice, trying to get it fixed and checking to see if there had been any updates, got no real help on the phone, the Sky advisors just pushed back saying I should keep looking for the receipt or that I should just ask Royal Mail to retrieve the information, which is not something they are able to do...
Would really appreciate some help here please.
Kind regards

I sent all my equipment back after i cancelled my sky Q. This inclued the settop box. 2 sky Q boxes and my modem. I've now had an message from sky saying if I don't return my sky Q box I will be charged £50! I can only assume this is for an old sky Q box that broke and returned a couple of years ago. What's worse is that I had to pay out £100 for the new box when the old one broke and I sent that one back. Now sky are charging me for this. This as left a bad taste in my mouth and I dont think I will ever return to sky and once my mobile contract is up will consider cancelling this too!

We understand returns are taking 2+ weeks to be processed and even then Unipart (who deal with the returns) are not the quickest in updating Sky equipment has been received. If you haven’t retained your proof of posting, any cancellation of non return fees would be at Skys discretion.

I have also been charged by sky for non return of equipment. I did however keep the proof of postage and have even sent them a picture of it, which I was assured by the CS rep would mean I wouldn't be charged. However 3 weeks later and the charge appears on my account. Utterly shambolic! Currently waiting for 8am to tick round to ring up and cancel the remaining elements of my package!

Thanks @Daniel0210 , I've rung again this morning and have been assured again (just like I was back on the 19th of July when I provided the proof of postage) that I won't be charged. I'll be checking on Monday to make sure it has occurred, then cancelling

Afternoon all,
Im hoping someone could help, Ive been having the same issue with the return bill. My sky account was closed back in July due to me moving out. I returned all equipment and like most on here have misplaced the receipt during my move. I noticed in aug that an alert kept popping up on my sky account about returning the equipment and I have spoken to two people about who wrote comments on my account, 1 for it to be removed and im not sure what the other employee wrote.
I have been emailed today syaing they are now going to bill my account for £50, sounds silly but I dont have the money I also no longer have a sky service or the equipment. Im on maturnety leave with limited funds and I dont know any other way to resolve the non returned equipment fee
