Returned sky items

You keep sending e mail asking me to return sky items. These were returned 31 October..Two weeks ago I spoke to Dave who confirmed they had been received and I wouldn't receive any more requests. I have today had yet another message asking to return. Please sort this out and confirm . Thankyou Maureen Hart.

@MaureenHart
We are mainly customers on here trying to help other customers and you aren’t directly contacting Sky Customer Services.

Have you kept your proof of posting?

Unipart deal with returns and they are taking a number of weeks to process equipment at their warehouse. Let us know in this thread about the proof of posting and we can maybe get you some help from Skys Messaging Team.

If you have the proof it should be fairly straightforward however if you haven’t retained it, any cancellation of non return fees would be at Skys discretion.

Please don’t try to post an image of the Royal Mail tracking or postal receipt as Sky don’t like them on the forum.

Re: Returned sky items

Yes I have proof of posting. My partner says just ignore it but I find that hard to do.

@MaureenHart

As customers we can't answer that one apart from delays in processing by Unipart maybe.

@MaureenHart
I’ve escalated your post to Sky and their Messaging Team should contact you later.

Look out for a post from one of the team inviting you to a private chat and then you should see a blue/red speech bubble at the bottom of your forum page. You’ll have 48 hours to click on it and start the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to a chat reply within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky aren’t instant so you’ll need to check the chat thread periodically.

This link explains what happens.

Re: Returned sky items

I have had exactly the same problem. Sky have firstly written to me thanking me for depositing their 3 items with their courier. (Sky Q & 2 mini's + remote etc). Yet still they keep pestering and threatening me since, denying they have received the articles! I was with Sky for 24 years and never missed a beat on payment. Yet here I am at 80 years of age facing these insistent and disturbing communications.

Who do I have to complain to as the Govt Watchdog to get

1) Release from the threats of huge charges, that their own system has already acknowledged the opposite to their claims.

2) Get compensation for the worry it has put on both myself and my wife.

Also I am getting up to five calls a week now from Sky offering me new terms and they just won't stop with these calls, sometimes at 7am in the morning.

What a poor way to treat an ex faithful customer, who cold no longer keep up with their rapacious pricing policy.

@Skydance

You won't get compensation I'm afraid.

Re: Returned sky items

Thank you for the reply, much appreciated. I have of course the 3 emails Sky sent me,  they read :

"Just a quick note to say thank you for sending back our Sky Kit - its now with our couriers and will be with us shortly.

In the meantime if you come across anything you should have returned. please order some more packaging

Thanks

Your Sky Team"

All have the same PF reference number on them.

Having received these advices on March the 11th, along with 2 other identical emails at the same time  I have cast away the Post Office Slip, considering it then to be 'disposable' post these advices.

I suppose I will have to await the inefficiency of the courier etc to either catch up  or decide they are going to proceeed with prosecution and then I'll have to counterclaim I suppose?

A sad end to a long relaitonship, which I at least preserved without fault for nearly a quarter of a century ...

@Skydance

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you sometime tomorrow morning regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at this bottom of this page.

This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears:
https://community.sky.com/t5/Did-you-know/Escalating-a-post-to-a-Sky-expert/ba-p/3711147

When the chat bubble does appear you will have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed. To start the conversation just type in it.

This isn't a live chat so replies may not be instantbut hopefully the messaging team on here can help to get thsi sorted for you.
