Hi! I just ordered a new phone with sky that is being delivered today however I already have a SIM card with a different provider and when buying the new phone put that I didn't need a SIM, one has been sent anyway and my account says about SIM activation. Can I put my old SIM in my new phone without activating the new one or will I have to use the new SIM card? Might be a stupid question but I'm a bit clueless, any help is appreciated! Thanks! 🙂

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@MegA2807 You can put your existing sim into the new phone
providing you don't activate the new sim you won't be charged and it will drop off your account automatically after 31 days
the reason sky sends one out is in case your current sim doesn't fit the new phone size wise

So I can put my old sim in and I don't have to activate my sky sim and they will just charge me 31 days later?
