Activation and transfer old number isn’t working

I have a new phone and I have out the new sim into my new phone and enter d the activation code and nothing has happened for a few hours. I am trying to get my PAC number and it is not working

What does your online accojnt show where you entered the activation code, does it say it is still activating or has now activated ?
