Hi
Had issues with broadband buddy for a long time. It won't connect to my Hub. I've uninstalled the app but it still says it can't connect.

Try doing this in the following order.
On your sky broadband buddy master device do a forget wifi network.
Restart the device.
Readd the wifi to that device.
Restart the device once more.
Start the buddy app. Go to Settings and click on sign out.
Close the Buddy app, and force close it if needs be so it is not running in your tasks..
Start the buddy app and sign in.
At this point it may work for you after a short period say five minutes.
But if not, within the app click on reset account data.
Keep the app open.
You will have to wait a short time, say fifteen minutes to be sure.
Close the app and start the app.

Hi all,
after almost a year without sky buddy working due to connection issue to the sky hub I finally got it working. I installed a brand new sky hub and cleared the cache of my sky buddy app on my phone. I had to set up all my network devices again but its working at last. The "new" sky hub was one I was sent my mistake a long time ago but forgot about it and found it during a clean up. The details of this new hub are below:
Manufacturer Sky
Model ER110
Firmware Version 4.02.0403.R
DSL Firmware VersionA2pv6F039m1.d24m

Hello I recently had the same issue with the sky buddy app, ever since I reset my broadband, I was on the phone to sky support for 2hrs and they didn't have a clue how to help me, so I sorted it myself. I went onto the sky buddy app there you will see 3 lines on the top left corner, go on to settings, there you will see in red reset account data, press this to confirm and it will reset the app, you have to set it all up again like when you very first got it. Mine is all up and running now . hope this helps

Also if I turn off the DHCP server to use a different on on my network using different DNS servers Sky Buddy cannot find the Sky Hub. I reset back to default and its fine. I wanted to used differnet OpenDNS ips for additional monitoring and filtering. I presume if I hard set the DNS server settings on the device you admin Sky Buddy from that should work.

My sky broadband hub won't connect to my phone because it's saying on there power and one with WiFi on it but no internet can I get a sky engineer come down today
