New Sky hub and Pod installation query

I am taking delivery of the new white WiFi6 Hub and Pod to replace my old/current Black WiFi5 hub and wi-fi extender (that work fine I might add) . Is it true that the new Hub and Pod will automatically pick up my devices I have connected currently using the current wi-fi u/n and  password etc, or will I have to reconnect every device app using the new password and username on the new router?
