If you account shows a credit then you can request a refund or leave it as a credit against your next bill.

Your manual payment is likely to be shown on your Sky account as a credit against your next bill, leaving your current bill unpaid. If the automated payment continues to fail, you may find your services being restricted. Best not to make manual payments at all.
