Re: SKY PRICE INCREASE
They won't cancel if you don't pay. Doing that is going to cause you additional problems. Your services will be restricted, you won't be able to call Sky, you can't cancel, late payment fees will be added and eventually Sky will involve a debt recovery company.

Re: SKY PRICE INCREASE
You are talking to other customers here and not Sky. If you don't pay after April Sky will chase you for the amount you owe them as the issue will not just go away so it could end up with it ending up on your credit record and a knock on the door from a debt collection company.

Re: SKY PRICE INCREASE
@Lee2467 Withholding payment won't make sky cancel your account you will just keep incurring monthly costs and fees which will ultimately be passed on to debt collectors to recover the money
sky are within their rights to hold you to the contract as the latest terms and conditions explicitly state that you can't cancel unless sky agrees to let you

Re: SKY PRICE INCREASE
@Lee2467 'disgusting' or not, you agreed to the terms and conditions of your Sky service which specify how they can increase prices. Nobody welcomes price rises but the increase is within the terms of your agree, ent with Sky and refusing to pay puts you in the wrong.
