Complaint closed without my consent.

Does anybody know when you upgrade your sky packages how you can get the advisors to not lie.

currnently since renewing my contracts they have messed up 4 times and also had multiple call backs promised ( none have happend) [Removed]. Yesterday I raised and official complaint by the time I put the phone down she had already closed the complaint as completed. It wasn't.

so if anybody knows how to stop sky continuing to lie please let me know

Re: How to get sky not to lie to you

1st lie was when they said my renewal were all like for like packages - they weren't they have downgraded Netflix themselves to a basic account

lie 2 our broadband is pathetic - they promised somebody would call back the following week to sort this out. Surprise surprise no call.

sky then put the renewal offers on their system incorrectly therefore showing incorrectly on the app for my account. Had to speak with them again to resolve, again they promised a call back, it never happened.

yesterday called again to resolve Netflix - opened and official complaint which my the time I hung up the advisor has already closed.  It's not resolved. She opened it and closed it with the same 2 minutes.

isimply can't find anything sky can actually do well. They are a disgrace of a business , so negligent, so ameature

It depends on what deal you were on.  NetFlix have changed (a few times) the tier that you get under a Sky subscription - it is documented and I agree the agents should know about it.

Previous deals gave NetFlix tiers based on your HD (and UHD) Sky sub's - this goes if you recontract and need a separate add-on to upgrade.

Re: Complaint closed without my consent.

My change was a like for like change at renewal, premium version not downgraded to basic. It was all agreed but the agent put through differently.  [Removed]No wonder they have a 1star trust pilot review.  Scandalous

All big companies tend to have '1 star' reviews as people only tend to 'review' with issues.  Indeed, 1 star as you can't give 0... 🤣

@PandJ2020 yeah I take TrustPilot with a huge pinch of salt. Sky is 1.3, Virgin is 1.4, EE is 1.5, Now TV is 1.2, Apple is 1.8 - it's really biased towards negativity.

Re: Complaint closed without my consent.

Totally agree , all of them are pretty much useless when it comes to customer service.  I called sky yesterday after the latest mistake and the advisor said she would text another advisor so sort out the problem. Ended up raising an official complaint and by the time I,d finished the call the advisor closed the complaint as dealt with.  It's really frustrating and embarrassing a company can be this useless over and over

Indeed, but can be useful.  I had a dispute with an energy company - there would never contact me until I posted a 1-star review there.  (Obviously ensure any posts are factually correct and are not defamatory)

Re: Complaint closed without my consent.

But to your original request @DAVE-EAST I think your best bet is probably a written email complaint if you're dissatisfied and see how that goes. https://www.sky.com/help/articles/how-to-make-a-complaint

Re: Complaint closed without my consent.

Called sky again today it's the most frustrating experience you could ever go through.  The automated service is shocking , like literally the worse thing you can ever do.  How do you actually speak with with a human being?

constan automated rubbish with no relevance , useless prompts.

the user experience is a joke it's so bad.
