we dont know what the system is, just a small black sky box for the tv to get sky sports channels, that is all he mostly watches, an elderly gent in a care home. uses the home wi fi connection, but progs keep freezing up. tried switching everything off and then on again, but doesnt seem to make any difference when on again.

Or are you saying they pay Sky directly for a box, it would also be helpful to know what box it is as there a different types, without this basic info we can't start to help as we have no idea if the box connects to a satellite dish or not.

Note that any such arrangement should be on a Sky television for business contract: if the home is supplying residents with a domestic service then they are likely to be in trouble...

If it's your own Stream puck (use of which at a different address is breaking the T&Cs) then it's not up to Sky to resolve bandwidth issues.
