I have a very old Sky Digibox which needs replacing. I cannot find how to do this. Any tips please?

Please Note: Sky+ is now a legacy/obsolete service that Sky are replacing with their newer services: Sky Q (all issues will be fixed during a Sky Q install), Sky Glass and Sky Stream

It is no longer possible to replace an older Sky box as your viewing card will be locked to the Sky box it was active in at the end of October 2024, you can replace a box that does not have a sky subscription and does not depend on the viewing card for channel access (freesat receiver)

If you're,using it solely for the free to air channels you could buy a used replacement from ebay etc. However if you have,a Sky subscription you'll need to upgrade to Sky Q.

A replacement Sky Digibox or Sky+ box won't give you access,to your subscribed channels.

@Robin1001

Sky has spent the past year trying to encourage SD box users to migrate: unfortunately the specific scheme for doing so has ended.  They would happily offer you subscription on Q or Glass/Stream, but won't now necessarily provide that at no increased cost.
